Helen Kelly\u2019s position as a Document Controller and Close Call Coordinator for a SkyBlue Solutions client in\u00a0the rail industry involves assisting civil engineering design teams with contract preparation, project related\u00a0correspondence and management of technical documents related to projects.<\/p>\n

She is also responsible for keeping a record of any potential health and safety issues so they can be\u00a0addressed by our team.<\/p>\n

Of her role, she said: \u201cSafety is paramount in the rail industry. I help reduce immediate risks and help the\u00a0company to understand strategically where it needs to make improvements.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is the first time I have worked within the rail industry. My previous experience has been mainly in the\u00a0civils, construction and stone masonry industry, but the experience I gained from these positions was\u00a0transferable to this role.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe SkyBlue team has always been incredibly helpful and available to me if I had any queries.<\/p>\n

Helen has worked with SkyBlue Solutions since 2018 and has carried out her work from home since the\u00a0outbreak of the Coronavirus pandemic with the support of SkyBlue Solutions and our client.<\/p>\n

She has found the switch to more flexible working an enjoyable and rewarding experience.<\/p>\n

She said: The work-life balance I have experienced through working from home has been great.<\/p>\n
