Owner of Fortel group welcome Walsall Works Bronze Partner award.

Fortel is seeing out the end of 2017 with a range of awards and accreditations that underline another year of growth and strong financial performance.

First, the company is one of 100 businesses to achieve certification by the UK’s only Ethnic Minority Business (EMB) accreditation programme. Run by MSDUK, the country’s leading organisation driving diversity in procurement, the programme offers opportunities to create more inclusive business relationships and access to international affiliates in the USA, Australia, Canada, China and South Africa.

The company has also been honoured as a Walsall Works Bronze Partner under Walsall Council’s award-winning initiative to recognise the contribution and investment employers make to their local workforce. The council intends the Partner Awards as a quality mark for community engagement and a gateway to silver and gold awards for wider activities covered by the scheme.

Finally, Fortel has signed up as a Disability Confident Employer under the UK government scheme to give employers the skills and resources they need to recruit, retain and develop disabled employees.
